Ephesians 2: 1-10 (NLT)

Made Alive with Christ

2 Once you were dead because of your disobedience and your many sins. 2 You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God. 3 All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature we were subject to God’s anger, just like everyone else.

4 But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, 5 that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) 6 For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. 7 So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus.

8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. 10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

Anyone who teaches salvation by obedience to the Law of Moses is teaching a false gospel!

The Gospel is not Keep My Commandments!

The Gospel is Not the 10 Commandments!

This Gospel Not Lordship!

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the good news that Jesus Christ!

The Gospel is this:

1 Corinthians 15:1-4

1 Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it.

2 It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you—unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place.

3 I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said.

4 He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures!

The Gospel is not a command to do something!

The Gospel is the declaration of the Good News that saves you!

The Gospel of Christ

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the good news that God Loved the world, Died for Sinners, Rose Again on the 3rd day. And through Faith in Christ, through His Blood we have Forgiveness of our sins, in Christ we have everlasting life.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not, “keep my commandments”, it is not Obedience, Faith is Not Obedience, Faith is Trusting and Believing in the Finished Work of Christ on the Cross.

Grace is a Gift from God
Faith is a Gift from God

We are not saved by Submission
We are not saved by Lordship
We are not saved by Obedience
We are not saved by Repentance
We are not saved by the 10 Commandments

We are Saved By Grace, Through Faith, Not by Works, It is a Gift From God!!!

The Gospel is Clear!

Don’t Pervert the Gospel by Adding Our Filthy Rags to it-

Don’t Pervert the Gospel by Adding Our Strength or Weakness to it.

Preach the True Gospel
Preach the Gospel of Grace

Know the Distinction Between The Law and The Gospel- Conflating the 2 is Deadly and as St Paul said, It is Anathema!

Knowing God Loves You

Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know and testify of what we have seen, and you do not accept our testimony. If I told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? No one has ascended into heaven, but He who descended from heaven: the Son of Man. As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up; so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
